You arent afraid to cry in front of them.Theyve already seen you at your best and worst.
They still loved you throughout all your meltdowns.
You arent disturbed by silence.Youre perfectly fine sitting on opposite ends of the couch without saying a word.
And youre perfectly happy listening to music with them in the car instead of forcing conversation.
You dont have to be talking nonstop to enjoy your time with them.
You let them see you at your most natural, because they always find you beautiful.
Theyve seen it all before.They know how clumsy you are.
They speak your language.
You dont overanalyze texts anymore.If he says hello, he means hello.
If he says hes tired, he means hes tired.
You know he isnt trying to play games or send any secret messages.
You arent afraid to confront him.You know that one argument isnt the end of the world.
That it wont end your relationship.
You know he would never do that.
You know hes the faithful bang out.
You dont feel as nervous as you once did.Youve gotten used to his best friends and parents.
Youre not intimidated by them anymore.
You actually feel like part of the family now.
