So, dark and dreamlike, with an overarching sense of unease.

Doomed Megalopolis (1991)

Doomed Megalopolisis one of the standout horror anime of the 1990s.

Hakaba Kitaro (aka Graveyard Kitaro, 2008)

Hakaba Kitarois a standalone series, and it is not considered canon with the variousGeGeGe no Kitaroanime series. The story of this series is closer to the original manga.
