If you ask your friends if theyve ever felt like too much, theyll probably say yes.
We all have moments in our lives where we feel overwhelmed by our problems.
Youre allowed to make mistakes.
Sometimes we screw up.
It might affect someone else, but more often than not, it only affects us.
And if you think youre a burden, thats a sign that youre being too hard on yourself.
We really are our worst critics.
Making mistakes is a part of life.
Trying to be perfect at everything is not only impossible, but it will also make you miserable.
Be gentle with yourself.
It can help to think of yourself as a friend and imagine how you would talk to yourself.
Its okay to reach out.
And there are people out there who feel like you, people who want to help.
c’mon reach out to them.
Youre not a burden.
No matter how heavy you feel right now, you are not too much nor something to deal with.
You are not weighing other people down.
What youre dealing with is burdensome, butyouare not a burden.
You are a person going through struggles in life, just like everyone else.
Life can be incredibly hard.
So many things are outside of our control.
Were not invincible, and what one person can handle is too much for someone else.
Its not about personal weakness or character.
Youre just a person trying to navigate the craziness that is life like everyone else.
Give yourself some credit for pushing on, despite how intense things are right now.
Above all, remember that you are loved.
You are so loved.
I know it doesnt feel that right now, but its true.
