Its ensuring that youre getting into a comfortable bed at the end of the day.
Its making you start the day with one thing accomplished already, no matter how small it may seem.
Drink a glass of water before you have your coffee.
I know coffee is essential.
It doesnt have to be written in a pretty planner.
It can be a ninety-nine-cent notebook from the dollar store.
It can be a stack of index cards or a post-it that you keep on your desk.
Whatever your medium, it doesnt matter, but write that to-do list down.
I hope you stretch your limbs, and I hope you bend down to touch your toes.
Your body is capable of extraordinary things and so are you.
Say no to happy hour.
Or that coffee date.
Or eating lunch with others if its taking you away from something else you want to do.
Or say yes if its what pleases you.
Release yourself from the guilt that comes with not wanting to seem antisocialyoure not.
Youre trying to spend your time efficiently, and there is no guilt to be felt in that.
Count the things that youre grateful for today, at this moment.
Maybe its your coffee.
Perhaps its the sunshine.
Maybe its the fact that you have a desk to sit at to do what you love.
Perhaps its the people you come home to or the home that you own.
Maybe its something else entirely.
Wut whatever it is, speak it.
Remember that to hold such blessings, no matter how small they may seem, is truly a gift.
