“Everything will work out in the end.”
Maybe things will be okay tomorrow – but that doesn’t change the fact they are suffering today.

They cant skip ahead to the part where theyre healed and everything is sunshine and rainbows.
They have to go through the pain first.
They have to deal with thenow.

Other people have it much worse.Dont tell someone suffering that it could be worse.Of courseit could be worse.
But that doesnt change the fact that they are upset.
Pain isnt a competition.
They dont need to go through somethingyoudeem unbearable to earn the right to cry.
If theyre sad, theyre sad.
Their feelings are valid.
Dont make them feel guilty on top of feeling upset.
- you better stay positive. When you tell someone this, it sounds like youre telling them to shut up.
It sounds like youre saying you dont want to hear about their problems.
It sounds like youre saying you dont want to be bothered with their pain.
Youre going to laugh about this one day.Pain usually isnt a laughing matter.
You might joke about it now, but it wasnt funny at the time.
But they could also learn that same lesson in a million other ways.
They didnt have to go through pain to get to make this discovery.
The pain wasnt necessary for their growth.
Dont worry about it.They arent able to turn off their thoughts like a lightswitch.
If something has been bothering them, then theres no way to outrun it.
They need to deal with it head-on.
They need to attempt to solve whatever issues arrive.
You dont need to pile on even more misery.
Everything happens for a reason. This isnt as comforting as most people assume.
Sometimes, it actually borders on insulting.
This is the last thing someone wants to hear when they are suffering.
Even if youre right and somethingdidhappen for a reason, they arent going to care about the silver lining.
All they are going to care about is that something horrible happened to them.
