You look for other unhappy people to be around.

You know what they say, misery loves company.
Tbh, positive people make you want to vom.
Its because it seems like theyve cracked some code you just cant figure out.

Youre grumpy when you dont need to be.
Youre mean to those closest to you.
You place blame on people or things that didnt really mean you any harm.

Its an unhealthy release.
But its a release nonetheless.
You sleep a lot.
Not only are you genuinely fatigued, but sleeping is an easy way to escape the mundane day-to-day bustle.
Because why be awake when you could be asleep?
You dont ask for what you want.
Maybe its a self-esteem issue.
Either way, you stick with whatever youve got, even if its making you terribly unhappy.
You treat your body poorly.
You binge on junk food.
You drink one too many alcoholic beverages.
You skip exercise in exchange for sitting on the couch.
Its a vicious cycle.
You dont feel good, so you find comfort in things that only continue the process.
Theres a huge difference between being an introvert and being a recluse.
You stop responding to texts.
Youre sort of hiding from the world and everyone in it.
You start dodging responsibilities or letting people down.
You stop giving things 100%.
You do the bare minimum and hope itll be okay.
You look for reasons tostayunhappy.
And it quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
