I often remember the people who showed up for me.
Some are in my life today; some, not so much.
Im eternally grateful for all of them.

Thank you to the people that show up.
To the people that consistently show they care.
The ones who are there, not just for the big things, but the little ones too.
Sometimes the people who show up surprise you.
Its not always who you would expect.
Maybe someone you expected to DOESNT show up for you.
In a way, that shows you reality in itself.
Im thankful for the real ones who do.
Who remember the doctors appointment I was nervous about.
Who check to see to it Im okay.
The ones who ask how things are going in my relationships.
Who consciously show an effort, not just when its convenient to them.
Im grateful to be surrounded by people I love and who love me back.
Our efforts are the same.
I will never stop loving these people.
But what happens when you care for people who dont show up for you?
You show up until you cant anymore.
At a point you cant keep crossing bridges for people who wouldnt do the same.
So recognize those that do.
Leave those that dont.
Sometimes all it takes is a small gesture.
During the hardest times of your life, you will remember who was there.
You will also remember who wasnt.
Maybe you will cut contact because of that.
Or maybe you will make a run at move forward.
But its like ripping off a bandaid.
Ive shown up for a lot of people.
In people showing up for me, Ive learned to recognize when people need someone.
I will always have a big heart.
I wont apologize for that.
But because of that, I want to say thank you.
Thank you to those who showed up for me.
The ones who were there when nobody else was.
Thank you for lending a shoulder to cry on.
Thank you for sitting in silence with me.
Thank you for understanding that I was having a rough day but needed your support.
Whether youre in my life today or not, I appreciate you and love you.
Those who show up for you deserve a special place in your heart.
