You have to tell them that they make you smilea lot more than you should.And that you appreciate their existencea lot more than they know.You have to tell them that they bring you joyand they make you happy.You have to swallow your prideand be vulnerable with them.Show them that theyre differentand that they move your heart.Were always hiding how we feel.Were always afraid of saying too much.Were always afraid we might get hurtbut it all hurts just the same when yousuffocate your own feelings,hold back,or stop yourself from fallingbecause theres always a chancethat it could be wrong.Theres always a chancethat it might not work outbut theres always a chance that it willand it could be everything you ever wantedand more.And theres always a chance that it could bebetter than anything you had ever imagined,but it all starts withyou with a decision to give yourself permission to feelto let it all out,to try harder for someone,to reveal all your cards.To tell someone how you feelwithout waiting to hear the same thing back.It all starts with a decision to let goof your fears and your pastand love like youve never been hurt,love like you dont know heartbreakbecause you know that you survivedthe worst of heartbreaksand you’re able to do it againas long as you know how to loveand as long as you keep loving harderevery time it knocks on your door.
