Im supposed to be your girlfriend, not your babysitter, not your mother, not your keeper.
I dont want to nag you about helping me with chores.
I dont want to remind you to complete basic tasks hours after they should have already been completed.
You should be reliable enough, and self-aware enough, to handle your responsibilities on your own.
Its not my job to keep you focused.
I might be your partner, your teammate, your soulmate but were two separate people.
Im not in charge of you.
You have your own brain.
you’re free to make your own choices.
Im not a spontaneous, go-with-the-flow person, so I cant date someone who manages their time poorly.
Youre a grown adult.
I dont think its unreasonable to expect you to act like one.
One of the biggest parts of being responsible is learning how to communicate with your significant other.
I hate being left out of the loop.
I hate finding out things at the last second.
Let me know if youre going to be late for our date.
Let me know if you arent feeling one-hundred percent.
Let me know whats going on so I dont end up sitting around, wondering.
If you feel like youre too young to act like a proper adult, thats completely fine.
Otherwise, a relationship ist going to work out between the two of us.
