Dont settle for anyone who doesnt make your heart feel held.
Because I wanted a boyfriend.
Because I was lonely.
Because I wanted attention.
Because he had a nice face.
And he was kind and he had a good on his shoulders.
But it wasnt love.
No, not even close.
I wasted those months of my life putting on a facade.
And like know from my experience, it isnt worth it.
If you feel lonely, take more time to spend with your family and friends.
If you are sad, talk to someone.
If you want to fall in love, first fall for yourself.
You dont have to go chasing someone who you know deep down is not the right person.
Dont involve an innocent person in your battle against your loneliness.
Dont break someone elses heart just to feel better about yourself for a few months.
Its not worth it.

No matter how long it takes.
No matter how many of your friends get married.
No matter how far behind you feel.
Dont settle until you know in your gut that its right.
Because when that happens, you wont be settling at all.
Youll just feel safe and warm and comforted.

So you wont be settling, youll be choosing and deciding.
