Unfortunately a month into her dream vacation, there were signs Gabby was in danger.
On September 1, Brian Laundrieshowed up at his parents home in Florida with Gabbys van… alone.
Brian Laundrie refused to tell Gabbys family where Gabby is or why he drove her van to Florida alone.
He then hired a lawyer.
On September 11 Gabbys family reported her missing.
Brian Laundrie was traveling with Gabby in the Grand Teton Yellowstone area.
They were traveling together in Gabbys 2012 Ford Transit van.
That is where we believe Gabby was last seen.
Brian is refusing to tell Gabbys family where he last saw her.
Brian is also refusing to explain why he left Gabby all alone and drove her van to Florida.
These are critical questions that require immediate answers.

No one has claimed responsibility for this yet.Brian Laundries account is still up.
Police have been notified that her account was taken down and then reactivated and are investigating.
Update 9.15.21:Brian Laundrie has been officially named a person of interest in Gabbys disappearance.
Gabbys mom saysshe sent Laundrie desperate textsasking where Gabby was and he ghosted her.
Update 9.20.21:Gabbys story continued to go viral over the weekend.
Large crowds stood in protest outside the Laundrie familys home.
First, Brian Laundrie was reported missing by the Laundrie family.
Then, Gabby Petitos family released a statement clarifying that Brian Laundrie is not missing, he is hiding.
Unfortunately, Gabbys body was found in Wyoming.
An autopsy will be done and hopefully a cause of death will be clear.
The FBI is currently at the Laundrie familys home in North Port, Florida.
Update 9.24.21:A federal arrest warrant has (finally) been issued for Brian Laundrie.
His parents say he left their North Port, Florida home on Sept. 14 with no phone or wallet.
The charges totaled over $1,000 which make it a federal crime.
Update 10.12.21:Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue announced that Gabbyscause of death was strangulation.

The Carlton Reserve has previously been searched but the area where the items were found was recently underwater.
McPherson says that he is currently using all available resources to process the site.
The Laundrie family lawyer, Steve Bertolino, says Brians parents will not comment until the remains are identified.
