I graduated from university after 8 years.
I was the last one among my friends to have landed a job and transitioned into full-blown adulthood.
Its been 8 years since I last dated that some of my friends have expressed their impatience.
And I only end up blaming myself for feeling left behind, for actually being left behind.
Theres no time limit.
Maybe its true; maybe its not because my family says so.
Maybe Im just trying to console my achy ego with a quote of unverified origin.

People might invalidate your effort by using your situation against youdont listen to them.
And as much as possible, avoid comparing yourself to others.

Work on your own timeline.
Nobody gets to dictate what you should become at a certain time.
The moment you let them get to you is the time youll lose sense of your self.
Do whatever it is that makes you feelfulfilled.
Pour your heart on staying determined because motivation is unreliable.
