One day I will know what its like to be at peace in the body Im in.
I tucked it under the rug and ignored it for as long as I could.

If theres one thing Ive learned, its that everything in our bodies is connected.
My anxiety can cause a stomach ache and constipation, which then creates a pelvic floor flare-up.
In other words, I have never been relaxed, ever.

With every deep inhale and exhale, I am actively relaxing the pelvic floor muscles.
By practicing yoga and meditation, I am forcibly working to relax every part of my body.
Instead, I go on walks.
Eventually, that hurt will swell and take up so much space inside of your body.
The mental and emotional pain will manifest into something physical.
All Ive ever known is tension.
All Ive ever known is the tightening of my body.
One day I will know what its like to be at peace in the body Im in.
