I think that what makes the ocean so beautifulis how she refuses to show all of her glory on one occasionShe has many characteristics which are necessary to encounterbefore one can truly appreciate herShe is calm & gentleShe is rough & unforgiving& it is because of this I find myself to be beautifulSee, I too refuse to show all of my glory on one occasion
Because I am not the shallow pool in which you often swimYou cannot see the bottom of meyou cannot know the depths of my soulby simply wallowing in my watersI am not meant to be understood in a dayin a monthin a yearor maybe ever
I am an oceanIf you wish to know anything at allyou will have to dive into waters you know not their depthYou will feel empowered swimming through colorful reefs& humbled as you encounter dark abyssesIt might not be easy, but it will be beautiful& you dont get to see the bottom of mewithout swimming through all of meYou cant claim to know meif you dont have the courage to try
