Like most people, I grew up on fairytales.
Stories of princesses rescued by brave princes.Tales of true love that conquers all.

I used to believe in those powerful signs of affection.
I was often disappointed when my assumptions didnt match the reality.
However, I wasnt only discouraged by my partners actions mine werent up to my imaginary standards either.
Thats when I realized that life isnt a romantic comedy or a fairytale.
We cant all promise each other stars and the moon.
But wecanpromise each other a lot more.
Loving hard can be difficult and taxing, but its always worth it.
Love is a choice, and we have to choose each other every day.
So I promise to never quit on you, on our relationship.
Im in it for the long haul, and that will never change.
When you feel down, Ill be there to lift your spirits.
I promise to be your anchor.Be the one who grounds you when you feel lost and confused.
