Youve got it in your mind that you must pretend everythings alright, put up this facade.
So you close your eyes and take deep breaths.
You do yoga, go on long walks, eat healthy food.
You give a shot to fill your mind with positivity, give a shot to let go.
You swallow the world, venture to stomach all that doesnt feel right.
You fill and fill with everything temporary until youre stuffed, but never satisfied.
You long just to feel, to understand, to not have the pain weigh down on you anymore.
But youre so lost.
But its so damn hard.
Youre so damn broken.
And I want you to know that God sees you, too.
Even in the depths, the mistakes, the chaosGod notices your pain.
God hears your cries.
God loves, opens, and longs to pull you closer to Him.
Sometimes you just wont feel Him because youre focused on whatswronginstead ofright.
