Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley are officially returning to the franchise.
Lillard portrayed Stu Macher inScream(1996) and Foley played Roman Bridger inScream 3(2000).
Both actors donned the Ghostface mask, with Roman having thehighest kill count of any Ghostface.
The cold open would have been Sidney and a friend being attacked in her house.
Sidney outsmarts the killer and ends up killing him.
Lillard’s character promises a sequel inScream(1996).
When he is unmasked, Ghostface is a complete stranger, a random fan of her life story.
Lillard would have been the main killer, his character having miraculously survived the events ofScream.
