Today, a girl reached out to me because she needed advice.
She asked me, How is it possible for you to remain so positive about love?
She went on to say, I want to give up on love and stop believing in it.
At times, it feels very heavy and it gets very difficult to believe that I will find it.
After I heard her question, so many different thoughts were going through my mind.
There are so many people in the world who feel just like she does.
And, she was right.
When you search for real love, it isnt easy.
It is very hard.
You know whats easy?
Finding someone just to be content with is easy.
Searching for temporary bonds and hookups is easy.
Finding love is anything but easy.
At times, you will end up on a path that you didnt intend to take.
You will lose your way.
I hope you know that there is nothing wrong with getting lost every now and then.
You will find your way out.
You just have to believe in love.
You have to trust yourself enough to know that you will keep fighting for your heart.
Someone out there has to feel just like you do.
It is not easy to keep fighting for your heart.

However, this shouldnt make you give up on love.

I dont blame you for feeling like you want to give up on love at times.
I know that it gets tough and it can be overwhelming.
However, you have to remember that youre the one who holds the power of love.
It is in your hands, not theirs.
You have to remind yourself: you are your own hearts hero.
