You laugh off your feelings, dont tell him youre hurting or whats really on your mind.

So you quiet yourself.

So you become the meek, submissive woman he can now control.

So you let yourself get walked upon in the name of love.

But in your heart you know thats not love.

So c’mon stop lying to yourself.

You dont need to be any less than who you are for the people who love you.

Listen, lifes too short to be convinced of your imperfection.

Stop trying to be less.

Stop trying to be indifferent.

Who you are is worthy, simply in the skin youre in.

Because thats not love, and never will be.
