Hes not going to come to his senses.
He made things very clear when he walked away.
His actions speak volumes.
And I know this is difficult to hear.
I know we want to believe that the ones who destroyed us always regret it.

But sometimes they dont.
Sometimes they keep going and never turn back to see if youre okay.
Sometimes they find happiness in other places and other people and it seems so unfair.
Waiting for him to change his mind is just going to delay your healing.
Waiting for him to reverse everything hes done is going to break your heart over and over again.
He made a choice.He let you go.
Its time to lean on friends and family, the ones whove always been there.
Its time to remember his flaws and not gloss over them.
Its time to look towards the future.
A future that includes warmth and understanding.
A future where youre not clinging to his mistakes.
A future where youre ready and accepting.
Maybe, one day, hell say sorry.
Maybe, one day, hell admit he was wrong.
But he still made a choice.
He could have fought for you.
He could have tried harder.
He could have loved you more.
Eventually, youll meet someone who will.
Youll meet someone who gives you everything he promised.
Everything you prayed he would return with.
And itll be so much easier.
Youll realize him leaving was a blessing in disguise.
Youll realize him leaving freed you.
There is liberation in this.
One day, youll see.
