Almost relationships leave you in limbo.
You never know what to expect from this other person.
When youre in an almost relationship, you dont want to be too demanding.

You dont want to beg for answers and come across as clingy since youre technically not a couple yet.
But you also dont want to fool yourself into thinking everything is fine and theyre simply busy.
You dont want to create a false narrative.
You want to know the truth, but when youre in an almost relationship, its intimidating to ask.
Besides, asking doesnt necessarily mean youll get an answer.
Almost relationships are hard because you dont want to sit around waiting for them.
But you also dont want to miss out on the chance to spend time with them.
But if theydidntwant a relationship with you, they wouldnt have been so flirtatious with you.
They wouldnt have made you feel this special.
Your relationship with them is a roller coaster.
Youre either overjoyed or disappointed, thrilled or devastated.
There is no in between.
If they didnt want a relationship with you, you could accept defeat and move on.
And if theydidwant a relationship with you and wanted to take things slow, that would be cool too.
You would be fine waiting if only you knew where it would lead you.
Since you have no idea what the future is going to bring, almost relationships are incredibly frustrating.
You never know when texting them is going to lead to a fun conversation or getting left onread.
You never know whether theyre going to make you feel wanted or like complete trash.
Its a coin flip.
Sometimes, the unpredictability is exciting.
But most of the time, its just plain frustrating.
