Young people dont mature quickly because they want to be boring and serious and focused.
It frees you from their control.
It means you’ve got the option to walk away if it’s crucial that you walk away.
It means you’re free to have a space over which you solely govern.
It means that you get to say what does or doesnt become of your life.
