You do not need to fix yourself by the stroke of midnight.
You do not have to become someone new while the clock starts to tick forward.
You only need to realize that who you are, right here, right now, is enough.

You are worth more than a resolution.
Here is the truth.
Youre already made it.
You feel like you didnt do enough this year.
You feel like you didnt check off enough boxes or hit enough milestones.
You feel like you werent enough.
But the truth is, you did something extraordinary, you survived.
You made it to the end of another chapter.
Well sometimes, thats the greatest accomplishment of all.
That is no small thing.
You were here this year-maybe not all of the time, but enough.
Enough to notice the sunlight spilling across your kitchen floor.
Enough to sit with your pain instead of running from it, even when it felt unbearable.
That is no small thing, either.
Yet most of all, you endured.
Through the moments when you didnt think you could, you kept going.
Through days that felt like they would never end, you woke up and tried again.
You fought battles no one saw, carried weights no one knew about, and you are still here.
That is not small.
So, this New Years Eve, I am going to ask you something.
Let go of that thought that you must become different to be worthy.
Let go of this feeling that you somehow need to be someone different to be loved.
It is not required to have some new version of yourself so that you may start life all over.
You also do not need any resolution just to move on.
For one thing, because you are enough already.
You are already growing, already healing, already evolving in ways you dont even realize.
So be gentle with yourself.
Honor what youve been through.
Trust that your quiet, unseen efforts are enough.
And as you step into this new year, carry with you the most radical resolution of all.
Just to love yourself, as you are, in this moment, unconditionally.
This is the year that doesnt have to be about becoming.
Let this be the year of being.
