Sometimes I marvel at the way the world works.
How some people seem to have everything handed to them.
To get everything they want in life.

Or their perceived happiness, anyways.
And then there are the people who struggle.
Who show up everyday.
But life is not easy for them.
Some of them have lived a thousand years, it seems.
Fighting day in and day out.
Fighting in this game of life.
Your heart knows before anyone else.
Your heart will always lead the way.
It will lead you to happiness.
It may lead to some pain, but it will always be your guide.
Those nights you cant sleep?
When your heart seems to be beating at a million beats per minute?
When you cant drown out those thoughts in your head?
Trust where you are.
Know that you are where it’s crucial that you be in your life.
People tell you to do all kinds of things.
They make you to believe youre crazy.
That you arent where you oughta be.
Dont fall into the trap.
Do you feel lost?
Wondering if youre doing the right thing?
Are you feeling complacent in life?
We all do sometimes.
Just believe that things come together.
You just need to be strong and trust the process.
Nobody has their shit together.
Some of us pretend better than others.
We all have been hurt deeply.
We all have hurt others deeply, too.
We are all just doing the best we can.
Your heart has the answers.
Ones you may not even know that you need.
Your heart is stronger than anything.
And it will not fail you.
It may bend or break, figuratively, but a heart still beats.
It beats with every failure.
No matter where you are, be proud.
You have made it this far.
And you have a lot further to go.
