No one has to be brave anymore.
No one has to go up to each other at the bar anymore.
Theres an app for that.

If someone wants to see you, they see you.
If someone has a busy schedule, they make time for you.
If they like you, they tell you.

I dont need to be thinking about if men care about me based on seemingly irrelevant details.
This world is chaotic enough!
Heres how my reality got crushed, one social media construct at a time!
It all started when my ex-boyfriend viewed me on LinkedIn.
Hopefully he didnt notice that part, though.
As I willfully avoided a good nights sleep, I thought:Heres the thing.
Anyone who has LinkedIn knows that the person youre creeping gets a notification when youve viewed their profile.
Ergo, vis-a-vis, he didnt care if I saw that he creeped my profile.
I knew he could never do better than me.
I did nothing with this information, because what could I really do with it?
I even forgot he creeped my LinkedIn!
I yelled at my phone like a fucking loser.
I was certain of his intentions, and heres the problem with these kinds of interactions.
Actually, they wont, because they dont have to anymore.
My ex-boyfriend doesnt need to message me.
Humans usually take the path of least resistance, and before social media, there wasnt a paththismuch assistance.
You got that text message, you got that phone call.
Now, no one has to wear their heart out on their sleeve.
you might make it seem like it didnt matter.
At least Ithinkthey are.
Its possible they arent at all.
Caring is asking if you care.
Caring looks likeasking if you care.
