Hollywood loves a recipe for success, and its latest obsession is a classic rock biopic with a household name.Bohemian Rhapsody,Rocketman,Elvis, andA Complete Unknownall gave their leading men a chance to show off their acting chops and vie for coveted award season nominations.
Now, director Sam Mendes will do the same for the four lucky actors who snagged a role in his upcoming Beatles franchise, which will include four separate films, one for each member of the worlds most famous band.
Gladiator 2s Paul Mescal and Joseph Quinn are set to play Paul McCarthy and George Harrison, respectively, whileBabygirls Harris Dickenson will play John Lennon, andSaltburns Barry Keoghan will play Ringo Starr.

All four films will be released simultaneously in 2028, creating what Mendes calls, the first bingeable theatrical experience.
While the approach will allow the director ample time to properly develop the stories of four very different human beings, it will be interesting to see how many key events will overlap across the films and how individual points of view will color those moments differently for each character.
