You dont have to play nice.

Mohammad Rezaie
You dont have to take the high road.
You dont have to be the bigger person.
You shouldnt allow yourself to get pushed around.

You shouldnt freely let others walk all over you.
If you dont put them in their place, then theyre never going to learn.
Theyre never going to realize what theyve done is wrong.
Theyre never going to grow and change.
Its not your responsibility to coddle the people who have hurt you.
You dont owe them anything.
You dont have to reach out an olive branch.
You dont have to accept their apology.
Even if youdoaccept their apology, it doesnt mean you have to allow them entrance into your world.
It doesnt mean you have to give them the chance to hurt you again.
Theyscrewed up.Theymade a mistake.Theydid the wrong thing.
You should never feel pressured to make room for toxic people in your world.
you’re free to shut them out.
you could walk away.
you’re free to decide they dont deserve your time or attention.
If someone did you wrong, youre allowed to be angry.
you’re free to keep your distance from them if you want.
you’re free to surround yourself with healthier, happier people if you want.
If walking away is best for you, then dont let anyone talk you out of the idea.
If someone hurts you, you dont have to be okay with what theyve done.
You dont have to continue to be their friend.
it’s possible for you to walk away.
Youre allowed to cut toxic people out of your world.
Maybe they had good intentions.
Maybe theyre truly, genuinely sorry.
None of that matters.
If youre better off without them, then go.
Youre not the bad person in this scenario.
Dont let anyone convince you that youre doing the wrong thing by leaving behind someone who hurtyou.
They lost their chance.
You dont have to give them another.
